Disabilities Centre at Bangalore
The State Referral Centre for Persons with Disabilities at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and Research Institute which was inagurated on March 24 is now ready with a comprehensive list of services.
The Centre will provide artificial limbs, crutches, calipers, spinal and chest belts, artificial foot, shoes and chappals. It also provides services for hearing impairment, visual impairment and mental retardation.
Consultation and counselling are also given for persons with disabilities and the parents of the disabled children to make them aware of the facilities available for the treatment of the impairments.
