Music: Little Diwakar
A program to showcase the talent of differently abled children was organised at Siri Fort auditorium by Tamana, an NGO for mentally challenged and autistic children. The programme 'Diwakar Night' commenced with the lighting of the lamp accompanied by singing of bhajan by the students.
As the programme got underway. Diwakar lit the stage with his mesmerising voice and scintillating performance that spanned 30 songs ranging from the latest numbers from Saawariya, Om Shanti Om and Jab We Met to all time favourites like Laga Chunri Mein Daag. Other specially abled children too showcased their dancing talent.
On the occasion, founder and president of Tamana, Shayama Chona expressed her appreciation for these differently abled children, calling them “the most necessary link of society.” “These children are very much a part and parcel of our lives and share the same joys and emotions,” she said, dedicating the evening to all children with special needs.
