Zen AX Easy Drive

Maruti Udyog Ltd presents the Zen AX Easy Drive, the only car in India that has been specially designed for the physically challenged. The Easy Drive is available in 9 variants, each suited to specific disabilities.

A step-wise summary of the booking procedure for the Zen AX Easy Drive is given below. It is advisable that the customer visits the nearest Maruti dealership for the detailed procedure, and guidance on the same:

1. Identify suitable variant: The attached product catalogue carries a special chart which specifies the type of variants available. Please do consult it to help you decide on the model that best suits your needs.
   
2. Obtain Medical Certificate from a Govt. Hospital: The format of the medical certificate is available on our web-site www.marutiudyog.com.
   Alternatively, the format can be obtained from a Maruti dealership.
   
3. Deposit booking amount with dealer: A sum of Rs.25,000 by means of a DD in favour of the dealer and kindly take a money receipt from the same.
   
4. Obtain Manufacturer Certificate from MUL: This certificate is issued by MUL, and will specify the variant suitable to the customer. For this purpose, the customer will have to send a request in writing to MUL.
   
5. Now, you will have two options to purchase the vehicle:
   
   
   1. Without reduced excise duty: You will need to submit undertaking stating that you are willing to take the vehicle at full excise duty.
      
   2. With reduced excise duty: To avail a 50% excise concession, you need to obtain a No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Industry.
   
   
6. On completing the above formalities, you must deposit the balance amount with the dealer & take delivery of the vehicle within specified time.
